Summer is the time of bounty with plenty of sunshine, flowers, and good food! Enjoy the season at Tuckahoe Plantation’s “Summer’s Flower Pick & Picnic” on Sunday August 14th from 11am-1pm. Admission is $5 per individual (kids under 5 years are free) or $15 per household (limit of 6 people).

Bring a picnic to share with friends and family on the beautiful grounds. Pick your own flower bouquet, using Tuckahoe’s colorful array of florals (additional $5 to participate). In the bouquet “beauty contest,” the prettiest/most interesting bouquet will win a cash prize! (bring your clippers if you have them, but we will have a few pairs to loan out). Some of Tuckahoe’s home grown produce will also be for sale.

No reservations are required, but please click “attend” on our Facebook Event Page! For any questions, please call 804-774-1614 or email [email protected]ail.com

New Logo!

Tuckahoe Banner

Tuckahoe Plantation is proudly launching a new logo! The design features calligraphy stylized after Jeffersonian period penmanship. Local Richmonder, Ginny Rogan, is the talented calligrapher behind the print. Sharing the joy of calligraphy for over 25 years, Ginny enjoys designing and creating original invitations, each as unique and special as the client. All her work is hand-rendered, and adds beauty to functional creations for events or meaningful pieces to be shared. Jonathon Koharik, a family member to the Thompsons, and Rebekah Sausmikat, one of Tuckahoe’s Event Assistants, also contributed to the logo creation. A warm thank you to the contributors, we’re excited to share our new logo!
