Tuckahoe Plantation
c. 1733
Boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson

A guest at Tuckahoe in the late 1700’s once said that the house seemed “to be built solely to answer the purpose of hospitality”. Over two centuries have passed and Tuckahoe still fits that description.
Guided tours of the house are available by appointment. See our TOURS page or contact Beth Roane (804 379 9554).
Special tours are listed on our CALENDAR page.
The grounds are open daily for self-guided tours.
Tuckahoe is the ideal site for your wedding day or other special event. Visit our WEDDINGS and EVENTS page for details.
