Touring Tuckahoe

 
Tuckahoe is open year round for self-guided tours of the grounds and gardens. The house is open for guided private tours by appointment only. We ask for a small donation to tour the grounds, an honor box is located at the gate. Please visit our contact page to set up a tour of Tuckahoe Plantation. *Self Guided Tour of Grounds: the immediate grounds are open to the public daily $5.00 per person Hours: Weekdays and Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sundays: 12:00p.m. until 5:00pm *HOUSE Tours (Scheduled by Appointment Only) A guided tour of Tuckahoe includes a description of the architecture of the plantation buildings and the furnishings of the main house an overview of the plantation and it’s setting and a brief history of its occupants. Each tour can accommodate from one to fifty people and generally takes about an hour. School and special event groups can be accommodated in groups as large as 120. Reservations must be made in advance. Contact Tuckahoe staff to set up a tour of this important National Historic Landmark. Tuckahoe’s mansion house is not handicapped accessible.
